About 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue
2 Blondes All Breed Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in the Denver metro area. We are dedicated to saving dogs from overcrowded, high-kill shelters and placing them in loving forever homes. Through partnerships with committed volunteers, accredited veterinarians, trainers, boarding facilities, and shelters, we strive to help achieve a No-Kill Nation.
Since our founding in 2015, we have rescued, fostered, and adopted over 12,000 animals. We primarily serve the Denver, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins metropolitan areas. Due to our reliance on established veterinary relationships and volunteer support, we do not facilitate out-of-state adoptions or placements outside our general service areas.
As a non-breed-specific rescue, we welcome both purebred and mixed-breed dogs. Because most rescue dogs’ lineage is unknown, breed designations are based on veterinary recommendations and cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, many of the dogs we take in require medical care for conditions such as broken bones, heartworm disease, and skin issues. These treatments are generally completed before adoption, though some medical needs may require ongoing care, which will be fully disclosed to adopters.
